Samantha Kappagoda was a Speaker at the Diligent AI Innovations Visionary Forum

Samantha Kappagoda, Chief Data Scientist of Numerati^® Partners and Independent Director of the Credit Suisse Funds, was invited to speak at the Diligent AI Innovations Visionary Forum in New York on May 1, 2025.

She participated on a panel titled AI Is Reshaping Your Role in the Boardroom: Are You Prepared?, moderated by Amanda Carty, General Manager, Compliance, at Diligent, and panelists John Horn, Director Cybersecurity Practice, Datos Insights, and Kevin Roy, Managing Director and Head of Issuer Solutions at S&P. The panel sought to discuss how governance oversight, and strategy may be transformed in the age of AI.

She previously participated on a panel titled AI in Corporate Governance: What Do Boards Need to Know Now? at the Diligent AI Virtual Summit in April 2025.

Samantha Kappagoda currently serves as an Independent Director / Trustee, Nominating Committee Chair and Audit Committee Member of Credit Suisse Funds, which are comprised of closed-end funds (NYSE: DHY and CIK) and open-end funds investing in commodity, high yield and credit strategies. She is also Chief Data Scientist and Co-Managing Member of Numerati Partners LLC, Visiting Scholar at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences NYU, advising research activities at RiskEcon^® Lab for Decision Metrics @ Courant Institute, and a Member of the Business Board of the Governing Council at the University of Toronto.
