Samantha Kappagoda was a Speaker on Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies for Retail Leaders

Samantha Kappagoda, Chief Data Scientist of Numerati^® Partners, was invited to speak at the Coresight Research Artificial Intelligence (AI) Council on January 31, 2024. Samantha discussed the opportunities and risks of early adoption of AI and other emerging technologies for retail leaders, in a session moderated by Coresight Research CEO and Founder Deborah Weinswig.

The Coresight Research AI Council is a collaborative forum established to explore and discuss potential applications, use cases, opportunities, challenges, and implications presented by AI across consumer-focused industries such as retail, technology, healthcare, and financial services. The AI Council seeks to facilitate meaningful dialogue and drive informed decision-making regarding AI adoption and usage. 

Samantha Kappagoda is Chief Data Scientist and Co-Founder of Numerati Partners LLC, and Visiting Scholar at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences NYU, advising research activities at RiskEcon^® Lab for Decision Metrics @ Courant Institute. She also currently serves as an Independent Director / Trustee, Nominating Committee Chair and Audit Committee Member of Credit Suisse Funds, which are comprised of NYSE closed-end funds and open-end funds investing in commodity, quantitative and high yield and credit strategies.
