David K.A. Mordecai was a Keynote Speaker at the Family Office Association Conference
David K.A. Mordecai, was invited to give the opening keynote address at the two-day New York City conference of the Family Office Association on November 6-7, 2017. The conference took place at the NYC headquarters of the law firm Nixon Peabody. Dr. Mordecai spoke about topics related to economic analysis of geopolitical uncertainty, industry structure and corporate liabilities, moderated by Scott Beach, chair of the Corporate and Business Law department and Chair of the Private Equity and Venture Capital practice group at Day Pitney LLP.
Other keynote speakers were the following:
- Marc Lasry, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Avenue Capital Group,
- Howard Milstein, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of New York Private Bank & Trust, and
